Earth’s climate is changing…we are too. As of 2021, we are using recycled polyester in 95% of our outerwear. This represents an important first step in our company’s commitment to build a more environmentally responsible and sustainable brand by reducing our carbon footprint.
In addition to the use of recycled materials in the knitting of our fleece, 80% of our outerwear product is now in made in plants powered by renewable energy and we have implemented water-saving techniques in the dyeing process during the production of our fleece, achieving a savings of 48 million liters of water in the past year.
We have made small but significant strides in the past year and continue to seek more. We removed excess waste, reduced water usage, and moved most of our manufacturing to renewable energy. Additionally, we will continuously seek more sustainable and ethical alternatives for key materials. We are also members of the Better Cotton Initiative, the largest cotton sustainability program in the world.
