From our inception in 2006, econscious has been guided by radical imagination. We began with the bold idea that we could create positive change and contribute to a paradigm shift within fashion by providing our customers with a comprehensive collection of premium quality sustainable apparel and accessories.
Inspired by our commitment to holistic design in 2022 we launched the econscious lifestyle collection which includes drinkware, yoga accessories and journals all made with sustainable materials. Each style is designed to support healthy lifestyles, mind, body & planet.
Future additions to the lifestyle collection promise to be infused by the same ethos that has guided us since our beginning; collectively our choices can create a healthier planet.
Today our commitment to the environment extends well beyond how our products are made to the community at large. Giving back is a fundamental part of our DNA and a huge part of what makes us excited to go to work every day. As members of 1% For the Planet econscious donates 1% of our retail sales to environmental non-profits that are working to restore, protect, and advocate for our home, planet earth. 1% for the Planet is a global organization that connects dollars and doers to accelerate smart environmental giving. econscious certified fibers adhere to global standards set for sustainable materials (OCS) Organic Cotton Standard, (GOTS) Global Organic Textile Standard, (OBC) Organic Cotton Blended Standard, (GRS) Global Recycled Standard. We work with factories who share our commitment to manufacturing quality products and providing a safe and healthy working environment for their employees. Every factory we work with maintains current social audits (SMETA,BSCI or WRAP).
All production locations agree to comply with our Workplace Code of Conduct which includes social components and environmental guidance (restricted substances, disallowed sourcing regions, maintaining transaction certificates). While regular factory visits and long-standing relationships contribute to the integrity of our supply chain. We make it our business to know the people that help make our goods. Transaction certificates and factory specific audits/certification are available upon request.
