- By dyeing in California, we must adhere to the strictest EPA regulations.
- We use only blue Sign Certified, non-harmful, chemicals in our dyeing process as well as significantly less water usage than the industry average.
- We take every opportunity to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions.
- We use solar energy to partially power our US sewing and cutting facilities.
- We never use petroleum coke – one of the dirtiest fossil fuels.
- We recycle everything that we can’t produce into a t-shirt, significantly reducing our plastic use.
At BELLA+CANVAS, we don’t view sustainability as a fixed point. It’s a journey in which there is always more that can be done. We believe transparency leads to accountability and accountability leads to traceability. We run an eco-conscious operation. We’re committed to energy reduction and clean steam energy. We generate virtually zero waste. We are an FLA participant and Platinum WRAP Certified.
